Dear parents,
We all have two lives. The second one starts when we realise that we have only one.
As a parent, you know your child is the best gift God has given you. Parents love their children unconditionally, and spend their lives trying to give them a better one. But what is the point, if the child's foundation is not strong?
Children need a set of skills that will help them live a powerful and happy life. Most parents believe formal education gives children linguistic and logical intelligence. It does, but only up to a point.
As a teacher myself, who has spent years teaching children, I feel they need something more: something that will make them invincible, and excellent. We see children failing in life in spite of their academic excellence. So what is missing?
In this series, let us explore together a framework for everyday parenting. Let us find the strengths of each child, and what makes them unique. Let us help them become thought leaders, who can manage their money and their emotions on their own.
Raising children is a long term project that lasts eighteen to twenty years, if you raise them well. Otherwise it turns into a lifelong project.
